Schengen visa

Schengen visa documentation support in Dubai

For UAE residents and expats travelling to Europe for tourism, family visits or business, and for people with a European job offer who need the national visa file done properly.

Who it is for

You live in the UAE and you are travelling to Europe for a holiday, to see family, or for a business meeting or trade fair. Or you have a job offer in a Schengen state and need the national visa file prepared without mistakes. Either way, the consulate decides on paper, so the paper has to be right.

Type C and type D, in plain terms

A type C visa is the short-stay Schengen visa: up to 90 days in any 180-day period, for tourism, visits or business, valid across the whole Schengen area. A type D visa is a national long-stay visa issued by one state, for example for employment. Each state sets its own list for type D, so the checklist is built for that state and that job.

Germany, France, Italy and the rest

Most of our Schengen files are for Germany, France and Italy, but the process is the same for Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Greece and every other member state. What changes is the consulate, the visa centre that handles the appointment, and a few documents on the checklist. We keep those differences in your checklist so you do not have to.

Service levels

What is included

What we do for a Schengen visa file at each level. Every quote names the level and lists the government, embassy and visa-centre fees separately.

Level 1

Appointment Only

  • Slot booking at the visa application centre or consulate of the Schengen state you are applying to, for your chosen dates and location.
  • Confirmation sent to you on WhatsApp with the date, time, address and the list of what to bring.
  • Nothing else. You prepare and carry the file yourself.

Level 2

Standard Documentation

  • Eligibility check, including which Schengen state is your main destination, the 90 days in 180 rule and your UAE residence visa validity.
  • Tailored document checklist for your purpose, nationality and residence status.
  • Schengen application form filling and a line-by-line review against your documents.
  • Cover letter and day-by-day itinerary drafting that match your bookings.
  • Guidance on flight reservations, hotel bookings and insurance that meets the 30,000 euro Schengen requirement.
  • Appointment booking and submission support, including the biometrics visit.
  • Status follow-up until the passport is back.

Level 3

Full Support with interview coaching

  • Everything in Standard Documentation.
  • Interview preparation covering the questions consulates ask about purpose, funds and ties.
  • A mock interview with feedback, in person or on a video call.

Appointment Only is exactly that: we book the slot, nothing else. If you want us to look at the file, choose Standard Documentation.

Checklist

Documents typically required

The consulate publishes the official list. Yours is tailored to your purpose, nationality and residence status after the eligibility check, so treat this as the usual starting point rather than the final list.

  • Passport valid for at least three months after you leave the Schengen area, issued within the last ten years, with two blank pages.
  • UAE residence visa valid for at least three months after your return, and a copy of your Emirates ID.
  • Two recent photos to Schengen specification (35 x 45 mm, white background).
  • Completed and signed Schengen application form.
  • Cover letter explaining the purpose, dates and funding of the trip.
  • Day-by-day itinerary.
  • Return flight reservation (a reservation, not a paid ticket, until the visa is issued).
  • Hotel bookings for every night, or an invitation letter with the host's documents.
  • Travel medical insurance with at least 30,000 euro cover, valid in all Schengen states for the full stay.
  • Last six months of personal bank statements, stamped by the bank.
  • Salary certificate or trade licence and company bank statements if you are self-employed.
  • No-objection letter from your employer where the consulate asks for it.
  • Proof of ties to the UAE such as a tenancy contract, family documents or property papers.

Common refusal reasons

Why files get refused, and how documentation avoids it

Most refusals come down to the file, not the traveller. These are the grounds we see most often and what a properly prepared file does about each one.

The purpose and conditions of the stay are not considered reliable.

Your cover letter, itinerary, bookings and purpose evidence tell one consistent story, checked line by line before submission.

Insufficient proof of funds for the length and type of stay.

Bank statements that match the cost of the trip, a salary certificate, and a written explanation for any large or unusual deposits.

Doubts about your intention to leave the Schengen area before the visa expires.

Proof of ties that is specific to you, such as your job, residence visa validity, family in the UAE, property and the return reservation.

Application lodged with the wrong consulate or for the wrong main destination.

The eligibility check settles the main destination (the state where you spend the most nights, or the first entry) before anything is booked.

Insurance that does not meet the Schengen rules.

We check the policy for the 30,000 euro minimum, cover in every Schengen state and the exact travel dates.

Inconsistent, incomplete or unsigned forms.

Form filling and review against your passport and supporting documents, with every date and spelling matched.

Timeline

Processing times are set by the consulate. Many files are decided within 15 calendar days of submission, but 30 to 45 days happens in busy months, and the appointment slot can be the longest wait. You can apply up to six months before travel; we recommend at least four weeks. We give you a realistic estimate for your case.

Fees

We do not publish a fee list, because the right scope differs from case to case. Government, embassy and visa-centre fees are set by the authorities and are charged separately from our service fee; they appear as their own lines on every quote and invoice. Tell us your destination, nationality and dates on WhatsApp and you get a quote for the level you choose.

Straight answers

Schengen visa questions

Which Schengen country should I apply to?

The state where you will spend the most nights. If the nights are equal, the state you enter first. We settle this in the eligibility check, because applying to the wrong consulate is a common reason for refusal.

Can I apply from Dubai if I am not a UAE resident?

Usually you must apply in the country where you legally live. Visitors to the UAE on a visit visa generally cannot apply here. Tell us your situation and we will tell you straight whether Dubai is the right place to apply.

Do I need to come to your office in Bur Dubai?

No. Most files are handled fully on WhatsApp and email. You are welcome at the office if you prefer to sit down with us, and the biometrics appointment itself is at the visa centre or consulate.

Do you handle work and employment visas for Schengen states?

Yes, as national (type D) visa documentation for the individual state, once you have an employer and the state's requirements for your job are known. We prepare and check the file; the embassy decides.

What happens if the consulate refuses my visa?

You receive a refusal letter with the grounds. We go through it with you, explain whether an appeal or a fresh application makes more sense, and what would need to change. Government, embassy and visa-centre fees are not refunded by the authorities.

How far in advance should I start?

Six to eight weeks before travel is comfortable. Appointment slots in summer and before public holidays can be scarce, so earlier is better. We will tell you if your dates are realistic.
